There are actually a lot of ways to lose weight at home, but for quick results, basically it all comes down to eating the right foods and exercising.

The main thing is we have to try and cut back on the amount of calories we eat during the day by 500 calories. Eating the right kinds of food is one of the fastest easiest way to lose weight. We must try to eat no white breads, no white rice, potatoes, no fast food, no cheese, no fatty meats or pork products.

Limiting or cutting out on carbohydrates will ensure we lose weight quickly. Also, limiting our consumption of red meats will aid in losing weight. We should try to eat only white meats, such as chicken and turkey, which are lean cuts of meats.

We must also increase the amounts of fruits and vegetables we eat during weight loss. Eating 2 servings of fruits and 5 servings of vegetables full fills our daily requirement.

Another important element in what's the quickest way to lose weight, is exercising. We should be exercising at least 3 times per week. Any exercise that elevates our heart rate is appropriate. Examples would be bike riding, swimming, jogging, walking, and any aerobics and weight training.

Very important too is that we don't skip any meals during the day and that we eat breakfast every morning. Eating frequently will ensure that we burn calories. We burn calories when we digest our food. If we eat more often, we also cut down on our portion sizes and stay fuller more often. Also, not eating anything after 7 pm will help us lose weight, in addition cutting out all sugars and all sweets. Keep "junk" food out completely or down to a minimum.

We need to get plenty of rest. It's good to get the required 7 or 8 hours of sleep each night. Try to be in bed before 11 pm. We burn calories even when we're sleeping.
